This item arrived very quickly and packed smartly. It's everything as advertised and described. The foam is very dense, yet is easy to work and fit your item inside. In my use, I have fitted a Savage Elite Precision 338 Lapua rifle, without a muzzle brake. There is an easy 2.5 inches on either end of the weapon remaining. The optic and grip have 3 inches remaining from them. I sort of tested the case prior to fitting my rifle by sitting down on it while closed and latched. It doesn't budge at all. I weigh 200 lbs, and I didn't sit down gently. Remained there for 10 minutes, didn't sag down either. Excellent case and foam. I have confidence in transporting my gun to the range now.

Pelican gun cases are not cheap but are worth every penny. They are rugged and that look really classy.
