I ordered this level IIIA vest to wear to attend CCW class just in case any rookie gun owner accidentally discharged firearm during the range time may send me to meet my creator.Before I placing order on O.P., I actually made a purchase from manufacturer’s website, however, after waited for 5 weeks, the manufacturer rep told me that my order with two other level IV plates is delayed. Instead of waiting for all the items are available, I came to here and made the purchase and canceled the vest from the manufacturer. OpticsPlanet did an excellent job and shipped the vest within two business days, and I got it before my CCW class.I am 5’11”, and weighted 200 lbs, so the large size works perfectly on me, it’s very tight in a good way, so the body armor is not moving around, and the vest snag free design allow me to access OWB hostler without any difficulty.The only thing I don’t like is the length of the vest, somehow the vest won’t fully cover my bellybutton area, since this is my first body armor, and I don’t know if it’s design like this from all manufacturers.Anyway, I don’t intend to test it out in the field to see if it’s really bulletproof, TBH, I wish I would never ever gonna use it to save my life, but with too many crazy people in this crazy world, you can only do you best to prepare for all the possible scenarios.
