I bought this kit from a local gun shop and have been very happy with it, until j saw the price from Optics Planet. Could have saved about 30 bucks. Regardless, i am super pleased with it. Its nit fancy but it is comprehensive minus the philips or flat head screw driver, but if you dont have a dozen of those at this point, are you even workshopping bro?Punches and hammer have been used to drop in pins on everything from generic builds to a couple competition rifles. If i need to swap a small part or trigger and need the appropriate punch, this kit is just right on time.If you own more than 1 AR or plan to own more or build them, this kit is great. If youre a pro armorer, you should spend more and get better stuff, but this is a great starting point.

Got this to swap out the A2 front sight gas block on my AR. Made sure I was using the correct size and going the correct direction to push the pins out. I've been going at this for several hours today, and have bent 3 of the punches, and one of those snapped right at the lower O-ring.This set looks nice, has a good feel. Case is great. Unfortunately my AR decided it was going to be super stubborn and chew threw them. I'm sure for everything else, these will work just fine, as was the case for removing the pin that holds the gas tube to the gas block. Not sure what I'm going to do now. I'm not going to buy another set just to have this happen again.
