I think the thing I love about this the most is the case and the way it is packed. No more looking around all over for my tools. Keeps everything stored in one location to take to the range or bug out with. The instructions are well written and to the point. Everything is well made and warranted for 3 years. Whether your a seasoned gunsmith or just a hobbyist I highly recommend this kit. The only thing that I would improve on would be to add a gun smithing screwdriver to the set and then you would have every tool you would need in one set. As far as everything else it is perfect. Way to go Real Avid.

The kit contains everything needed to build an AR-10/15. This is great for those of us that don't have a lot of storage space for all the general gunsmithing tools. Also great to throw in the truck on range day for those unexpected failures. The best part is the tool that helps install the pivot pin.

For the money this kit is a great start to a builders arsenal some things are flimsy like the picks and torque wrench but the rest if you take your time, are great quality. I have had no problems can only assume the other bad reviews are due to user error.

I bought this kit to help with building my first AR. The included instructions for common part installation and replacement was extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend. The case is well built and sturdy. The punches did not bend. Mag well block was a godsend. This kit is capable of much more than the builder at the time of this review.

This kit is awesome! But I feel like the name is mis leading. The people who will get the most out of this is likely going to be first time builders with 0 AR/Armorers tools. Master armorers or people that have been working on AR's for years will likely have most of these in a brand or form they prefer. But this kit will make a first build much easier and you dont have to worry about not having the right tool…. its there.
