I wanted a range tool to save me having to carry a number of items for sight/scope adjustment etc.. searched through the OP website and found this.. I am not disappointed. Anyone who knows me knows I love anything in FDE.. so I chose this color not the black. I have even used this to strip my nail gun that had a nail stick in the feed port… the only thing I'd change would be the material the pouch is made of.. it looks a little cheap..

I have a couple Real Avid products and decided to get this since it's specifically for ARs. The most used tools from this are the bolt carrier and bolt carbon scraper along with the tool driver/bits. It's really nice to have all of these tools as one unit. I have not tested the bolt override tool, however it's nice to know I have that option if I ever encounter that kind of malfunction.

I got this tool with the intent of it being a range bag tool. I build AR 15s on a production scale and tools are my lifeblood. I decided to use this tool at work just to see how effective it really is.Well call me IMPRESSED. Using the multi-tool on a daily basis I was able to do almost everything involved in the assembly of AR uppers and lowers solely with the Real Avid AR15 Multi-tool. Add in their combo armorers wrench and the bench block and lug lock tool and most of my former bench tools are now gathering dust at the bottom of my tool box.Real Avid set out to make the cadillac of AR15 tools and their entire line reflects the thought and effort they put into making the best tools for the AR user and builder. This multi-tool BELONGS IN EVERY AR15 shhoter's gear bag. And for the serious AR owner/builder, take a serious look at the rest of their product lines. Idk what kind of metal they make the bits with but it's absolute garbage. So far all the torx bits are twisted and the flat head scre driver head is in a couple pieces. The only piece that hasn't failed is the takedown pin punch lol.

seriously. this is about as unnecessary as anything can be. This is not a slap at the seller, as, I've bought from them for ages, and, have had zero problems. reality is, You don't need this. My daughter bought me one for Christmas. the "lanyard loop/carbon scraper/smoothie blender attachment doest fold on. guess what, it won't fit into the pouch with it attached.do yourself a favor. leave this sort of "tool" for the mall ninjas, and, chair force warriors.

I received my Real Avid Gun Tool Pro, AR15 Multi-Tool from Optics Planet in their usual Fast well packaged shipping method.The Real Avid tool is of very high quality, something I’ve come to expect from them since I own other firearm specific tools of their brand. The features on the tool are well thought out and are made to be use full for the firearm it is designed for without any unnecessary ones added just to make it look “cooler”Handling the tool you feel the heft and comfort fit in your hand. The tool all access with ease for their intended purpose. The magnetized storage compartment is perfect for very small springs and pins, which if you’re servicing your gun anywhere but at the bench, you know can be lost, nice to have a fast replacement on hand should that happen.The MOLLE sheath/pouch is very well made and fits nicely on a belt of woven on to your range bag or pack via the MOLLE snap strap on the back. (I folded the instruction/owners sheet and this slipped it behind the tool to keep for reference or should I need to warrantee the tool, something I doubt due to its quality of construction.)I’ve used a few multi tools over the years one is now a permanent part of my range bag/pack when I venture out with my MSR’s
