Redding Reloading Titanium Carbide Sizer Die
$135.01
The Redding Carbide Sizer Die With Two-In-One Compound Carbide Die Sizers consists of two carbide half-wrapped around a special form of high-moly tungsten creating the optimum sizing effect. Being made from tungsten carbide, this amazing Die from Redding will give you a lifetime of hassle-free reloading. Sizers are hardened case necks ground square for perfect cylindrical alignment. Carbides are added to the mouth of the die to reduce wear while resizing. Cleaning is necessary when the last of the brass is removed. Again, slight case neck wear is normal for a given caliber. However, excessive wear or abrasion can cause problems. Therefore, a Redding Carbide Sizer Die with a titanium coating can outlast a steel die by several notches. I bought this based on the picture, thinking that the wider mouth would work better in my XL650 setup. I have Redding's Competition TiC die in .40SW and it has this style mouth. The 9mm Competition TiC die I was trying to replace has a less radiused mouth with an edge that tends to catch the case mouth. Unfortunately, this NxGen CompPro die in 9mm also has the less radiused mouth and is not at all like the picture. Major bummer, so I returned it since it was redundant for me. Great dies though, they are buttery smooth in the press with no lube and size the cases down to where they should be. OP should update the photos for each caliber die so we can see these differences if they exist.

I'll start by saying I've liked and used Redding dies for years with rifle reloading. I've usually only used Dillon dies for pistol and been perfectly happy with them. Except for 9mm where recently I have had to start using lube for sizing even though they are carbide. I tried this Titanium Carbide die from Redding because their adds say it's smoother than regular carbide because of the molecular structure and maybe it would work without lube. Wrong, I couldn't tell any difference between this die, the Dillon and a Lee as far as ease of sizing.I would finish by saying it's a fine sizing die but at that high of a price I'd stick with other brands.
