The Model 18 is an inside the waistband (IWB) holster constructed of firm SafariLaminate™, allowing the holster to stay open after drawing, eliminating any fumbling while reholstering. It features a synthetic suede outer lining that grips clothing for less movement of holster. The open top design features a double snap belt loop that is adjustable for cant angle and fits both 1.25 in. (32 mm) and 1.5 in. (38 mm) belt widths. Available for pistols and revolvers in a sueded black finish. Safariland always makes high quality gear. This holster is molded to the specific weapon. Its a suede holster, but that is wrapped around some type of kydex, so the holster retains its shape when the weapon is drawn so reholstering is easy to do. This is a perfect concealable holster for small J frame wheel guns. I have a S&W model 36 that’s been in my family since the 70s and I love that I’ve found a decent holster that I can use. The kydex is well done and I like the suede finish that feel comfortable again my skin for inside the waist band carry.
