Glock 17 , gen 5 , less than 2 weeks old, and this holster put 3 deep scratches in the slide after about 30 draws. These are not marks that wipeOff, but scratches in finish. Appears the ALS tab is too sharp and not smoothed enough. Bad quality control and a $40 holster has now blemished a $600 handgun. Very disappointed, and love the ALS system, but don’t trust this company or product now.

I purchased this holster to use at work as a plain clothes LEO. It is perfect. The paddle holds the holster securely to my pants. It’s easy to replace the paddle with the belt slide. The retention is secure but easy to draw the gun out when you want it. Also easy to reholster. It’s definitely not a concealable holster, but it is closer to my body than a duty holster on a gun belt. I highly recommend this holster.

I like the included paddle and belt loop for the variety of carry options. But my primary use case is for the outdoor range. I attached a QLS and a mid ride UBL. This package results in a lower ride due to the mounting holes, but it works for my body type. There’s a lot of value in this holster system.
