The Model 578 GLS Pro-Fit brings the unique GLS (Grip Lock System) and SafariSeven together in a holster designed to fit a wide variety of guns. The Pro-Fit is customizable and adjusts to securely fit over 225 firearms. The 578 also features the GLS, an innovative technology that automatically secures the weapon when holstered and releases it upon application of the middle finger with a standard shooting grip for a more intuitive and safer release. The holster body is constructed with SafariSeven, a lightweight, state-of-the-art nylon blend is completely non-abrasive to a guns finish, tolerant of extreme high and low temperatures, and easy to maintain. This holster includes an injection-molded paddle and an injection-molded belt loop that is adjustable for maximum comfort and allows the holster to be worn cross draw. Awesome fit, can also adjust with an Allen key they provided. Super solid built very well. This is a daily user for sure. If you plan to get a snug holster then this is the one. What’s making this upsetting is that I have to continue to brag about it when I m done. But I’m still a fan, so God Bless America!

Great EDC holster and I wear it with my duty Glock 17. The paddle attachment is super comfortable and doesn’t dig into your hip like other holsters. If you carry a Safariland duty holster there isn’t much adjustment to this one as a good grip immediately let’s you access the firearm.

This holster is great if you own multiple handguns of similar size and dimensions. Once adjusted it holds my pistols as good as any other holster. As an added bonus I have suppressor height sights and this actually fits! Paired with the quick release system and the flex drop this is an outstanding setup on a battle belt for 3 gun!

I took an educated guess after having called both Safariland and Ruger to see what holsters would fit my new Ruger-57. Both kinda shook their heads and shrugged saying an ALS may eventually be on its way, but I couldn't wait. If you've got a Ruger-57 either with or without an optics plate, this holster allows for a really tight lock-up in case you want to meme it up with this as a quasi-duty holster or especially for range day. Minor note would be that because of the aggressive slide aerations, you may see a bit of abrasion in the holster where the slide rubs the holster, otherwise I couldn't ask for a more clean fitting holster.
