I purchased this scope as a replacement for a hunting rifle. I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of the scope and the clarity of the glass. This model is easily on par with Leupold's Freedom series optics.

First off, the listing says 1in tube, optics planet customer service says 1in tube, sig website doesn't even show this scope, but it IS a 30MM tube. So let that be known so that you can get the correct dia rings. That being said the scope is just like the other sig buckmaster scopes, excellent for the price. Its not a 1k scope so dont expect that. The scope looks good, glass is clear, adjustments feel tight and tactile enough, the magnification and parallax levers are tight and smooth, the quick throw lever is great but can hit your bolt on 90' bolt throw levers in some scenarios. Have not used the rangefinder yet but in this package its basically free and sig has a lifetime guarantee and good customer service so im sure itll do what its supposed to. This is the perfect package for someone who wants an affordable hunting or range setup. For the money there is nothing to complain about! Stay safe and always have fun out there.

I use this scope/rangefinder on my .308 and love it. I’m a hunter not a sniper so I typically take shots 75yd-300yd. I set my rangefinder to my cal/bullet wt. and it’s been accurate. The glass is clear and it gathers light well (so appreciate the 30mm tube). It’s not the Leopold or Vortex I have on other rifles but it didn’t cost near as much either. It a great hunting scope and a good deal.

I’m really kicking myself for not reading the other review. Had I read it, I would have ordered the correct rings. Just as the gentleman before me mentioned, this is NOT a 1 inch tube, it is in-fact a 30mm tube. My rings haven’t even arrived yet (I ordered them a cpl days after the optic) & now I getta order a 30mill set & return the 1 inch when they arrive. That really is frustrating that OP screws up like this. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a monogamist OP customer. They’ve been my go-to for most things Gun related for years, but come-on.!! Tho this optic is deff a budget optic, it is likely the best bang in its $250-ish price bracket (given the included range finder), it is deff nothing to brag about. I disagree w/the the only other review so far, I could deffinily reach out to 1k yrds with it & plan to do-so. The range Finder feels pretty cheap (very light, very plastic), but seems to do it’s job. I may do another review after using this set-up to push the 1k yrd envelope. In all honesty, I kinda wish I’d held off & spent more money on a higher quality set-up. This really is an entry level optic set for, say, a young beginner learning to shoot/hunt. & of course I was aware of that, but lacking in fundage for this particular rifle & was in a pinch for a rangefinder. Just remember ‘good ain’t cheap & cheap ain’t good’ will always apply..

Awesome scope for the price including the range finder

Range finder is decentScope glass is clear, but at full magnification no matter the angle of sight, it's a bit foggy. Multiple users have tested and confirmed as such on my scope, but literally less than a 1/2 mm of retract and it clears up again.
