I was waiting for Sig come out with a new green dot that I didn't already have. Luckily I didn't have to wait too long. I have sighted this in at 100 yards without any problems and put about 200 rounds down range. I am lefthanded and love the fact that the brightness control is on the right side which allows me to keep my left hand ready to fire. This is definitely my favorite optic now! I know this just came out and there's not many reviews yet, but I don't think you can go wrong with a Sig.

Great budget priced green ‘red dot’ sight. I like the dial illumination adjustment better than the push button I have on other setups.

Seems well made. Red dot size is big enough for pistol carbine. Held 0, 200 rounds 45 ACP. Good. Now for negative, Poor quality screw used to hold clamp on base. Very vert fine screw threads and very few on battery cap. Be very careful, spring on watch type battery very strong and cap could be very easy to cross thread. There are only 4 or 5 turns of the cap and the hight is less than 1/8 of an inch. Would I buy it again, For the price, yes.

I put this on the new MOSSBERG O/U 18.5 inch Shotgun. Works great, price is okay. I also put one on my inside the house AR . I really like the ability to turn it on/off by turning a knob . Some other well known Optics that use a push button don’t always turn on the first or even second time, which is not good if is an emergency !

  5. Mike

Awesome green dot for the price. You won't be disappointed!

I got this optic because I wanted an optic that I could turn on/ off using a dial type switch . I have had “name brand “ optics that you push a button to turn on , and most times it takes multiple times to turn it on . In a “bump in the night “ case , you need it on RIGHT NOW .
