Been pleased with the scope. Has very nice eye relief. Sight picture looks very clear on the 16x maginfication. Picture was still nice and clear at 500+ yards. Is a pretty large scope, a little bigger than I was expecting.Locking elevation turret is nice and easy to use once your are familiar with it.Illuminated reticle is a nice touch.

The sig sauer whiskey 4 seams to be a very well made scope. Used vortex for years. Wanted to try something different. I think I made a good choice with the sig.

I caught this thing on sale, and I have to say, it was a window-licking stupidly good deal for what I got. So it's First Focal Plane which is great because I like my math to add up easier and I'm (literally) autistic as heck as it is so it's harder to adjust for how a SFP scope reticle works, glass is as clear as the fact that Biden has dementia, eye relief is decent but could use some improvement on 16x but still I'm happy with it, illuminated reticle lights up nice and bright so you can pretend you're a special forces sniper even though you're just some fat dude from rural PA (or wherever you're from) even when conditions are dim, removable throw lever which is cool, and very nice finish, also fits perfectly with my Warne scope rings! Overall Fit and finish is as tight as the spandex on that cute chubby Spanish chick from the mini mart who has a crush on you since she found out you operate heavy equipment which is a huge plus because shes kinda heavy herself. Also dropped this thing quite hard on the hardwood floor before installing and it seems like it held up better than I did when my mom dropped me when I was kid so yeah. Not even a nick in the finish. In all seriousness, good product overall and shout out to optics Planet for offering the sale on it that they did, for what I got it feels like a steal, whoever authorized that sale is either just super generous or actively trying to cost their employer money out of spite for receiving a pizza party instead of a raise. Thanks, OpticsPlanet!

I'm very happy so far with the scope. I just got it mounted last week and have it bore sighted but I haven't completed the sight in process yet. It's impressive that the features included can be so affordable. This is my first FFP scope and I like this way more than I thought I would. also the ability to lock the adjustment on the turrets. It also comes with good quality flip up scope caps. I had transitioned away from the flip caps because of poor fit poor durability. These OEM Sig caps seem to be great fitting and sturdy. Overall I'm pleased with the purchase and only more use and time will provide the final verdict.

I mounted this scope with a set of SIG SAUER Alpha scope rings to a SIG SAUER Cross bolt action rifle chambered in 308. My goal was to put together a lightweight hunting rifle capable out to 300 yards. I did some research regarding first focal plane (FFP) versus second focal plane (SFP) optics before I made my choice. I have a SFP scope on a bench-rest rifle and the fact that the holdover values change with magnification bothers me so I chose to go with a FFP scope for my hunting rifle. My thought was that since I don't plan to hunt at maximum magnification then having consistent holdover values at any magnification would be of value to me. Having no prior experience with a FFP scope I did not realize that the subtensions would be so small at low magnification that I couldn't use them. Other then my error in judgement the scope is fantastic. Clear and bright at all magnifications. There is plenty of eye relief, which is important with a bolt gun because they have a lot more recoil than a semi-automatic AR10 style rifle. The turrets are easy to zero and the zero-stop function for the exposed elevation turret is helpful should you choose to adjust for bullet drop instead of using the holdover in the reticle. The scope appears to be of high quality manufacture and durable. I will have to wait to see how it works for me in the field for a final review.
