I installed this on an Angstadt Arms AR9 PCC which I use for a close quarters/house weapon. Attached easily to the rail. Perfect size for the 6in barrel. Solid construction and quick function with the pressure switch. I chose the 500 lumen because I did not want an overly bright light blinding me reflecting off the walls. Great visibility indoors and good range outdoors. I highly recommend this light.

I love how small and simple it is and it's perfect bright for a rifle platform. Great awesome reliable light. It is very rugged an hold on my ar10 no problem. Has a lock on the front light meanily means it will lock the light button in a way, twist it locked an the botton will press but no light, unlock twist an button works.

I’m using this rifle light on my CQB 6.5” DD pistol, where I have little real state to mount the light, the remote light pad (a must have), front iron sight (backup), rifle sling QD pivot, and be able to operate the weapon in my dominant (RH), and non-dominant positions. The small footprint was essential for installation, and the low weight also helped with maneuverability in CQB and odd operating conditions.

I bought the LR1 for a lightweight close quarters AR-15 build. This Streamlight is 500 lumens using a single CR125 battery which makes it extremely compact and the included pressure sensor makes it a solid long gun weapons light in a CQB capacity. The weaponslight is well made and well up to the task.

This is a pretty nice light. Does everything it advertises. Its a good size for a 10.5in AR with a 9in handguard. I prefer this to the RM2 for defense because 1,000 lumens can be fairly disorienting when shined at a wall in the dark. 500 lumens is much more tolerable. There are only a few minor problems with this light. First is the rubber dust cover is pretty mediocre. It doesn’t fit snug so it can fall out. Also, I think the button sits a little too high off the rail if you’re using a picatinny rail section on mlok. It’s a kind of uncomfortable. Arisaka Defense makes a low profile pic rail section that should alleviate this.

I was a bit skeptical about this little light at first, but I thought I would try it on my pistol. It is fantastic! Lightweight, "waterproof" (even though I don't plan to take it boating), small, bright and very easy to install. My favorite part is the "safe off" feature. When I go to the range I don't have to change my grip. I just twist the cap 1/4 turn and the pressure pad doesn't activate the light. Great little light!
