Anyone purchasing this light must be aware that there are several models exceptionally close to each other .you have to find out exactly which one you need . this particular model though it is mountable in your car and comes with the cigarette adapter is by the actual company standards a wall mount and they do not (give you a strap with this one . no w if you purchase the vehicle mounting system that comes with a strap but not cigarette lighter adapter it comes with a wire to be hard wired to the fuse system. when speaking to the employee at streamlight the first had an attitude that the suggested retail price was 240 something dollars which they would have stayed on the shelf. i go by what it costs plus the profit they are in business to make not raping people of thier money . it was well worth the 143 something i spent but you have to pay extra for the strap. the thing is this particular model automatically turns on during a power failure which is awesome.plus it is the longest life before charging which is 8 hours or so. great light but choose your model wisely
