Nice little light, brighter than I thought it would be. The on off button on the end has a touch on/off or you can push it until it clicks then it stays on. Never be without a nice Tac light, that can sit in a shirt pocket.

Great flashlight which is very bright, not bulky, and charges up easily with USB attachment. Easily fits into pocket. When charging there is a visable LED that shows green when flashlight is fully charged. The Ultra has two light levels of high and low but level of low is hardly noticeable. Nice on/off button which is heavy duty and won't turn on accidently in a pocket when carrying.

The Streamlight micro is a great option for EDC. This light has more flood than throw which is great for indoor/close quarter use. The “clam, coyote, FDE”(burnt bronze) light turns on high (250 lumens) with one click, or low (50 lumens) with a rapid double click. I prefer this program for self defense reasons over the other options which are set up 50/250. The USB rechargablility is convenient. However it reduces the waterproof rating of the light to IPX4. A Protac 2aaa for instance has an IPX7 rating. The difference is splash resistant vs briefly submergible. The size of the Streamlight micro is slightly taller than a bic lighter with the thickness of a sharpie. Compared to a protac 2aaa which is the size of a standard sharpie. I prefer the micro for EDC(extra room for other junk ). It’s pocket clip also has the ability to be clipped to the brim of your hat or the visor in your vehicle. I bought the Streamlight Micro after loosing my 5 year old Streamlight Protac 2aaa. Optics planet has got to have the best prices on Streamlight products. My local retailers price the Streamlight micro at $59.99. And the protac 2aaa for $39.99. I paid exactly 50% less for both at opticsplanet.com

Very small, compact light. The double tap to reach full power is slightly annoying but you get used to it quickly. For its size, it is reasonably bright. Both settings are good useable lumens for close to mid range work/navigation. My only complaint is it will occasionally flicker and go dim. I assume its the battery level but it acts like its a switch/contact issue.

I have been a long time Streamlight fan and carrier. I have had the micro stream and the stylus pro and caried then for years with out issues. This new light is brighter, and smaller then the stylus pro and is rechargeable. I also like that it is a bit bigger than the original micro stream, gives you more purchase on the light. I need to get a backup battery but they are not available yet. This light was worth the wait and the pre order. I will have to buy another to keep at home or in the car but this one stays in my pocket everywhere I go.
