I really like this light. Super bright and will disorient and temporarily blind your aggressor. You absolutely need a light if you are defending your home. Unless you leave lights on in the house, you will not be able to see. And leaving lights on in the home is as much an advantage to them as it is to you. Leave the lights on, run a light, know your house, and pop the light on. 1) to make sure it is not your idiot teen child who is sneaking back in the house after a night of hoodluming 2) it temporarily blinds your opponent and gives you time to see who your about to dispatch to kneel before God.

It came packaged as expected. Performs flawlessly. Will hopefully be using it in an up coming class. The only real draw back i can see is the sheer mammoth size of this thing. The included battery that comes with it is about as big around as c cell battery and half again as long. May be why the battery life is so good though. Trade offs?So far as I can tell you can't really cycle through the light functions ( high, low, strobe) with the pressure pad. But what you do get, is a very strong momentary bit of light. And good luck using the ten tap programming with it mounted up. Solid light though at a decent price.

Light is fairly homogenous with a decent flood for an led along with large "hot spot". Hot spot and flood arent vastly different like some other lights like the tlr1hl, surefire m600df, modlight plhv2 etc. Flood size is about same as m600df, but the overall intensity is significantly brighter in the flood area and the light is much whiter vs the softer m600df tone. Throw is equivalent to the m600df, but again projects a much wider beams of whiter light. This light can be quite blinding when shooting near obstacles as the flood will be displayed on those closeup obstructions/barriers and it brings a lot of light closeup and takes my eyes a moment to adjust to see past the barrier. It almost creates its own photonic barrier by bringing a bright light reflection close up and obscures anything you are seeing past those closeup barriers. It is still a very impressive light as it ry to figure out how to use it best.

This light is great! It is easy to install, easy to use, and even easy to charge. The only consideration I would share is that this light is quite large. This would likely work best on a rifle with a barrel length of at least 14". I originally bought them to run on my Stribog and MPX but they were too large. I now run them on my 16" AR and my 14" AR.The beam is bright and doesn't throw to wide, which is nice for not blinding yourself on your walls if you are using it inside you house.

Look up Shaffer Machining for an aftermarket switch/pressure pad rail mount since Streamlight doesn’t provide them for M-Lok. Don’t confuse the switch/pressure pad and the light, both require their own mounting systems if you’re not using pic rails. Nothing in the product description indicates that this product comes with the M-Lok mounting system for the light specifically so I purchased the Streamlight M-Lok mount for $27.99 separately, however, when it arrived, it did come included in the box. Optics Planet could do better here on product description and what’s included to avoid this unnecessary hassle/expense. As for the light, it’s everything you want it to be, it is large though so don’t order this light if you drink soy milk.

This thing is amazing ,Not to mention how well it looks. It comes with everything you could possibly need. It is not necessary to buy extra accessories, streamlight did a great job all around with this flashlight. BUT just be aware this thing is colossal, gargantuan, a behemoth, a titan. It is very large in my opinion but it works for me. I have it on a Benelli M4 and the 2000 lumens is very much appreciated . It is so bright you could see through someone's lies and soul. I would definitely recommend it and look no further.
