I pick this up after my Leapers UTG Libre flashlight died on me. This light is very bright, its got a better pressure pad, and its lightweight. Doesn't get much better for the money. I will have to see if it withstands the test of time though. But so far so good

The smaller size and ease of installation and operation are what interested me in this weapon light. Comes with everything you need (other than the two inches of rail space to place it on). The tape-switch with separate momentary and constant options is worth the price by itself. There are brighter lights out there, but too bright and you’ll affect yourself, and battery life suffers. I feel this model is an ideal balance.

I’ve tested a number of different weapon lights in wide range of configurations and across the price spectrum. The StreamLight Rail Mount 1 isn’t the cheapest or the brightest and isn’t particularly novel but it checks all the important boxes while remaining extremely durable and simple. This has become my standard for all but the most extreme use applications and what I recommend to anyone looking for a good light for their long gun.

I purchased this for my AR carbine rebuild for home protection. I have rotator cuff problems and need to keep clutter and weight down. The supplied m lok bracket kept the light close for convenient thumb activaion. The brightness is perfect for indoor and yard use with no blinding back splash! Highly recommended!!

I have three of these now and they all fit and function perfectly on all my AR uppers. They mount securely onto the upper, and have great brightness. The also come with an included mlok mount. Great value!

I have this unit mounted on my M400 and it seems perfectly good for home defense use.The features are a big plus — programmable, has a pressure switch (or can be run without), the mounting options, and perhaps best of all the ability to us a AA battery if the CR123 poops out unexpectedly — pretty good chance of coming up with an AA in a pinch. It’s also compact and feels solid.I’d certainly defer to expert opinions if considering this for professional use. That being said, it’ll light up a dark room or hallway pretty well.
