This light is really good. It has a very strong pronounced hotspot, much better than the standard Surefire heads (not the turbo heads). It has a nice amount of spill, but this light is all about throw, and it does that very well! I like it a lot, as I've always had a soft spot for Streamlight and I think they have a super great value proposition. Hey hold up well and can take abuse. I use my rifles and they get thrown around in my truck and bounce everywhere and hold up just fine. I've never had an issue with a Streamlight. You could buy 3 of these for the price of a Surefire Turbo or Cloud Defensive. Are Streamlights combat-proven? Maybe not in the Middle East in war, but a lot of cops and swat teams use them all over the United States, and that's a testament to Streamlight. Buy with confidence and don't look back. These lights are great and this package is awesome!

If you are having issues navigating the gun light nightmare. This model is the updated stream light with an Arasaka style M Lock type mount. It’s insanely solid and has great illumination. I would recommend getting the arasaka tailcap that converts it to work with sure fire pressure switches. Even with all those additions you’re still coming in cheaper than a surefire and the light throw is still comparable.

This is a good, complete package for a light for a carbine or rifle. It is BRIGHT and the light carries a long way out. The end cap has an on/off switch plus the input for the tape switch (because tape switches can fail). The light itself is a little bulky; however, the MLok mount will tuck it in pretty well on a normal handguard. The gizmos to attach the tape switch to a rail are not great – there is an aftermarket solution that I need to look into. That said, this is a helluva good light for the price.

Streetlight makes excellent duty / military lights. I have used them for over a decade and absolutely trust them with my life. When looking for a new WML I had a few criteria: 1 – Had to be rugged / duty ready 2 – Shock/ impact and waterproof rating3 – Dual activation ( Tailcap switch and Remote / tape switch) 4 – Dual Fuel (CR123A and USB rechargeable batteries)5 – Hi output (500L +) with over 1 run time. This light exceed all expectations and at nearly 1/3 rd the price of comparable Surefire.PROS: – Ability to program light mode (High, Low, and Strobe) – Excellent Brightness, Coverage and Runtime- Full package with everything you need and multiple mounting options included.CONS: – Size and weight are more than I would like. Conclusion: – After testing one of these for nearly a month of hard use and it functioning flawlessly.. I purchased 3 more.

Bought this light instead of another Streamlight option with the laser. This light installs on mlok easily and is nice to be a full kit where you aren’t chasing parts later. Highly recommend.

Ever go to the hardware store and see the cheap $5 flashlights on the miscellaneous items shelf? Thats exactly what this light feels like. The threads are so burred it feels and sounds like there is sandpaper in the threads when screwing the tail cap on. Light only works when the tail cap is cranked down as tight as possible. Pressure pad and mount are poorly designed, olight makes cheaper lights that are designed 1000 times better and I HATE olight. Just holding this light in the hands feels like it will break the first time its dropped. For the price youd expect some quality. This is the 2nd streamlight product ive owned that disappointed. Spend the extra $$ and get surefire or arisaka
