This was the 3rd TLR product I used and the first with a laser. It’s as solid and reliable as any other I’ve used. The laser point of aim was easy to adjust and center.when solidly mounted either on a pistol rail or single rifle/shotgun rail, it keeps its zero as well as expected. When I mounted it on an offset rifle mount there was some residual vibration shooting on the move.

This is the second streamlight that I have purchased with the previous one several years ago. I wanted a second light for another rifle which it is now attached to. I opted to omit the strobe feature this time but essentially it is the same light and functions the same. I was totally satisfied with the first so order this second so I did not have to switch lights between rifles.

I recently purchased my 3rd TLR. I am a peace officer and use my TLR on both my primary weapon as well as my rifle. I believe that the TLR is the single best tactical light available on the market. I recently added the pressure pad that is available with the TLR. I make 2 observations about the pressure pad: 1st – the adaptor only works with the newer models of the TLR. 2nd – in order to install the pressure pad, one must replace the rear door of the TLR with a new door adapted for the pressure pad. Installation of the new door requires that you move the original holding pin on the door latch to the new door latch. This process is not explained in the directions and requires a little bit of effort. In my case I had to find a safety pin in order to push the pin out. As a standalone unit, the TLR (I have both the TLR1 and TLR2) is intuitive and ergonomically correct.I highly recommend these units, which are made of quality materials. I have found them to perform well under all conditions. Pros: Available pressure pad Cons: Pressure pad does not work with older models

I now own 7 of these. I have them on everything but my sniper rifles. Buy one and you will have no regrets.Pros: solid quality, bullit-proof designCons: cost is higher than the cheapos

Overall great product. Battery installdirections are not very good. I actuallywatched you tube video that helped greatly.Pros: nice features- bright light Cons: battery installation directions are poor

Provides significant direct, as well as peripheral lighting out to at least 50 yards, probably a little longer. Laser is not very bright at longer distance during sunlight hours. Agree with other reviewer, should probably sight it in close. It is expensive, but all of the full featured weapon lights are. Mounted easily. Strobe function is nice feature and works well once you get acclimated to using it. Highly recommend. Pros: Bright light, fairly compactCons: Expensive, laser visibility limited in moderate sunlight
