I initially bought it for my RIA FS. It will not fit in the gun. I drop it to my Kimber Custom II and fits very well. Controls are easily reachable. Light is bright enough in dark environment. I had the streamlight in my M&P Shield 9 mm with Laser. I like it with no Laser for my 1911. Hopefully they make one that will fit the RIA

Easy to attach to 1911 full 5” and 4.24”. But it is no laser as $76 offer. This TLR-6 flash light is very bright and easy to installI bought many TLR in different models for ar15, ar9 and pistols and all worked perfectly

In the photo it shows there is a laser attached. There is not. My mistake for not reading the description better but they should change the photo to the actual model being sent. The laser port is covered with plastic on this model. Had to return and waste time. Sadly the site does not keep the laser model in stock so it seems like the sale will go to the Amazon monster. The light is very bright on this though, but it the directions to attach it to the gun are wrong. It is extremely difficult to attach this to a full size 1911. Start with the bigger piece first, then the smaller. Once on it is as tight as can be and fits like a glove. Good luck! Great site though.

I can not believe I have to wait 1-4 months just to receive this I'm beyond irritated. I'm a streamlight fan I use this model on a 1911 light weight I wanted another one for for kimber custom ll. You won't be disappointed with this streamlight.

What a great add on to my 1911 mil spec officer .45 acp. Been carrying this one for decades and now is so handy in all light conditions including complete darkness. I'm was amazed how it allowed me to see my iron sights at night! So useful even as just a flashlight! Modified my carry holster myself. So light you can't feel it's there. Worth more than I paid for it to me. Thanks for a truly great product and on time shipping!!
