I added this piece to my Remington 870 express tactical and was super easy to install and added a qd point and a picatinny rail for a light attachment.

This is a great setup for anyone wanting to add some modularity to a shotgun tube or in my case … being able to run a 2-point modern combat sling.Instead of using a QD sling mount … I just used a piece of paracord as I've had too many QDs fail … that said … Strike whether they knew this or not … machine a channel to be able to use paracord with this … I think that is a great little added bonus. There are no torque values included but I use 15 in/lbs with blue loctite to attach the mount.

I’ve been wanting a more functional barrel clamp for my shotguns for years but didn’t like the appearance or the ones I came acreages. THIS one is what I’ve been wanting! It’s unobtrusive, fits great, and looks like it belongs there. Cant wait to laser up and tag some close range hogs. I ordered this for my 1100, but checked fit on 870, will be ordering at least two more.

Purchased this barrel clamp to get rid of the crummy clamp provided by factory and really wanted to mount a light up front. I ended up going to ACE hardware and picking up 2 new screws (10-32 3/4 inch long black oxide socket heads) Worked great but to protect finish on barrel I applied a single layer of electrical tape on the inside of clamping surfaces otherwise the anodize coating will abrade off the barrel finish. Hope this helps folks looking for a replacement for the factory part. all in all the part is nice, well finished and is secure on the barrel and magazine tube.

Clamps on with 2 screws that are pre loctited. The quick attach works awesome with my sling. Have a flashlight mount a d flashlight on the other side. Has nt come loose yet.. however have only put 100 rounds through it since putting it on my turknelli.. If you are worried about light scratches in the finish this may not be for you.

This is a quality product and an excellent way to add a weapon light and a QD (quick detachable) sling swivel to your 12-gauge shotgun. It is very well designed and the finish and appearance are indicative of a company that prides itself on producing top-quality products. The fit on my Copolla T-4S (Turkish made Benelli M4 clone) is perfect, but the maker does warn that it may not fit all 12-gauge shotguns. The Picatinny rail section is within spec and any device designed to fit a Picatinny rail should fit well. The QD socket accepted the QD swivel of my Blue Force Gear sling swivel perfectly. The design allows for the rail and QD socket halves to be mounted on either side of the barrel/magazine tube. As with any similar barrel/magazine tube clamp, it must be disassembled (2 screws) and removed to remove the barrel for cleaning/maintenance of the firearm. The manufacturer includes a warning that the metal-to-metal contact of the clamp to the gun can cause damage to the finish of the firearm. None-the-less, I highly recommend this device and would buy it again without any hesitation.
