Used in the Sharps Bros P365 Grip module. Installation was normal and fit and finish is excellent. It gives my thumb just enough extra bump out to easily drop magazines more comfortably with the wider Sharps Bros P365 Grip module.

I bought a Wilson Combat frame for my Sig 365XL. Recommend. However, I wanted the mag release button to be a little longer. (Story of my life. I have a thick palm but short sausage fingers) I bought this Strike Industries mag release for just that reason. It goes in easy, looks good with the WC frame, and it is a smidge longer to help with release. Personally, I would like it to be a little longer but that's just me. The quality for the price for the product is first rate.

Simple installation. However, it hung up on the rear edge of the mag release slot. I had to push it forward slightly before pressing in or it would not press in. I had same result on a P365 & P365X grip. After it wouldn't work, I watched Sig Guy installation video to confirm that I installed it correctly. I had. I'll be returning this. I notice that all the 5 star reviews that specified which grip they installed it in were aftermarket grips.

  4. Chris

Smooth, yet tactile feel and operation. I like the feel better than the stock magazine release. It is really easy to install and I like the fact that it comes with a srpung as well. Strike industries makes some quality products.

  5. George

It works great. I was having trouble with the magazine release button due to its size. I purchased and installed this new one and now have no issues. Just a heads up you might want to get the punch that fits into the hole for ease of replacement.

This magazine release will not fit P365 Macro, Legion, or Fuse grip assemblies. I was converting over my P365XL to a Wilson Combat Grip and lost the original magazine catch spring. It's easy to lose and not an easy item to replace. It is debatable at $7 plus shipping if you can find one. I bought the Strike Industries Magazine Release instead. Read all instructions before beginning: (1) Work on a white or very light-colored surface(2) Remove slide/barrel assembly and FCU before starting. (It is quick and makes the installation much more straightforward.)(3) Do not touch the packaged spring until Step 4! (4) Based on left-handed or right-handed, you will insert the magazine release from the opposite side of the grip assembly. (5) Place the magazine release in the grip assembly to verify orientation. You may need to put your index finger in the mag well to help guide it. (6) Having verified the magazine is correctly aligned, back the release out while keeping a finger in the mag well to maintain alignment to place the spring in the concave groove behind the release button (shown on the right side in the product image). (7) Press the magazine release button until the release is completely seated, maintaining pressure against the spring. (6) Slide magazine release stop on the end of the magazine release to capture and hold it in place. (8) Slowly ease off on the release button to ensure the release is captured.(9) Press release several times to verify that the spring is working correctly. Reassemble and insert an empty magazine and test again.I hope this helps.
