The Strike Industries Micro Threaded Comp – QUAD is a pistol compensator from Strike Industries that can work with just about any size slide using a threaded barrel with 1/2″x28 Threads Per Inch (TPI). The wide front wall baffling redirects gas to mitigate felt recoil and reduce muzzle rise. SI internal testing has typically seen a reduction average range (dependent on application) of 15-30% in felt recoil. This Micro Threaded Comp – QUAD line has a built-in anti-rotation system using the front tip of the pistol guide rod for most applications other than pistols with a flush guide/recoil rod system. With the clamp style design on the Strike Industries Micro Threaded Comp – QUAD, timing the comp is simple including a secure and tight fitment. Originally designed for smaller compact, sub-compact and micro sized pistols, the SI styling of these Muzzle Brakes & Compensators pairs aesthetically well with most OEM and aftermarket slides on the market including full size pistols. Made from S45C steel with HRC40-45 heat treatment and a black oxide finish, the Strike Industries Micro Threaded Comp – QUAD offers a smaller threaded barrel compensator option for your pistol with SI style. Running this comp on a Canik Elite SC. As expected it has trouble cycling some 115gr ammo, some cycles fine, anything 124 and up it cycles great. It works well, helps reduce recoil, and looks great. The only thing I don't like about this comp is that it doesn't thread on all the way to the slide, leaving a gap. Not a huge deal, but it would look better if it installed flush like the Disruptive Defense comps do.

I bought this for my wife's Springfield Hellcat to reduce the muzzle rise. We were pleasantly surprised at the difference! The little micro compact shoots more like a full-sized gun now and my wife is very happy. It looks cool too!

Installed on springfield xdm elite, the stock spring did the job fine for new brass and reloads. They must have got the bad batch of screws worked through because mine torqued to 40 no issue. The comp worked better than i thought it would honestly. Very happy

Have used this comp on G19 & G43 Glocks and clones. Noticeably reduces felt recoil and muzzle flip. Works best with full-power rounds. Reduced-power rounds will not cycle properly when using this comp, unless a reduced-power recoil spring is installed. The comp is easily installed on any 1/2"-28 threaded barrel. ONE CAVEAT: Gas from the muzzle blast apparently can cause damage to the screw that secures / clamps down the comp on the barrel. I transferred the comp from one barrel to another after firing about 200 rounds. I noticed what appeared to be a nick in the threads of the machine screws, but didn't consider it a problem. When I installed the comp on another barrel, and attempted to tighten the screw to the specified 40 in/lbs of torque, the screw snapped in two, leaving the lower portion in the blind thread portion of the comp. Attempt to drill out the broken screw failed and comp was ruined. Purchased another to replace it.

Put this on a True Precision bbl. for my 365xl ran 50 rounds of 115 gr. of ball ammo through it w/o any function problems. Reduced felt recoil, muzzle flip/rise was near nil. Allowed for quick acquisition of target and follow up shots. I let the smith who installed it give it a go. Ask them what they thought, they liked how it handled.

Works good. I put it on a canik sc elite, it doesn’t fit flush but I think it looks cool
