I bought this after watching several videos testing different flash hiders. This one had the best cost-to-performance ratio. My experience shooting with it has been great. Dissipates the gas exiting the barrel cutting pretty much all the flash. Makes a short barrel more fun to shoot.It pings like a tuning fork when unattached and struck. Have not experienced it when attached.

I chose this flash hider for its looks and its performance in the flash hider shootout (google it). It looks great and does an excellent job of reducing flash, who could ask for more. It does make the tuning fork noise like any open tine flash hider, but it isnt a big deal in my opinion.

Put it on a 300 black out build looks sick! Its a must buy stop thinking about it! Functional and great quality! There’s times where you just got to stop thinking and buy stuff no matter what your wife may think

Looks great, functions as promised, and fits 5/8" x 24 threads. Only problem is it rings like a tuning fork. I will try to solve it myself with simple modifications, but it's really annoying. The slightest touch or even charging your rifle will make this flash hider ring at around 3700 hz.

I was a a bit hesitant to buy a strike industries product at first. After purchasing this flash hider I will be buying from them again, no blemishes, came with a crush washer, and has a nice design. It does makes noise, I like it, it’s higher than a garand ping but sounds similar in tone. It gives the gun a different feel, when you let the bolt fly forward and it sounds like a mini garand I kinda dig it. will be buying another.

Very well made, and the finish is pretty durable. Does what it’s suppose to do, and for the shelf-queen crowd, it’s a nice piece to cap off the end of the rifle. It does not snag patches when you run the rod through the bore either
