Got this lil comp on the 18th, three days ahead of the specified time. Optics Planet simply has out of this world shipping. Finally got to try out the Strike Industries War Hog Comp today on the range. Yes, I'm sure the Aero Precision H 4OZ buffer also played a part. But firing 5.56 out of a 10 inch barrel is what it is. Muzzle rise, and recoil were simply non existent. I've done it with a standard A2 flash hider and this one now as well. I gotta say, the War Hog Comp made it much better. When I was looking for something shorter to build as compact a gun as possible, this one stood out in reviews and on Youtube. This will be a standard for me from now on all my builds. For $18 it can't be beat.

Best bang for the buck I have seen in a while. It’s small, loud, well finished,and so far pretty durable. For the price I would say it’s hard to go wrong. This does include a crush washer in case you are wondering

This comp is compact and well made. The finish and machine work is excellent. The included crush washer makes installation a breeze. If you're looking for a simple and affordable muzzle device to keep compliant I highly recommend this one.

Was looking for something as minimalist as possible. Thought this would be it but the close to 1” outside diameter was a deal breaker. Didn’t install. Build quality looked, and felt top notch. Just not the one I was looking for.Can not comment on performance, therefore unable to give recommendation.

I'll be honest,this was my first compensator,/brake attachment iv used on my Aero precision Ar pistol, so i cant compare to others, BUT, I Took off the A2 flash hider on my rifle,slapped this bad boy on and was super impressed. Maybe even more impressed that the A2 flashhider was so effective at hiding the flash LOL. This thing is a fireball shooting machine now. It also took just almost all of the barrel climb I had on this rifle away. IT violently expelles gasses out the sides of the muzzle and you can FEEL it, along with a fireworks show of flames. I get nasty looks at the range all day long now, and I freaking love it. Its louder now, and I can feel the loudness in my chest thanks to the short barrel and this comp. It does its job. I'll buy more for my other guns.
