I used this to great success on a Springfield operator LW. The gun needs to be a standard size traditional 1911 with a Novak front sight dovetail. Then you need to send slide off to a very good gunsmith to mill it out. I had primary machine do it on mine. Also refinished slide as is necessary. Sent in slide, plate, and rmr optic. Absolutely love the results. Jus make sure you know what this is. The sights lower co witness with the rmr perfectly, and it is an amazing final product.

I have been trying to find a solution of adding a full sized optic to my 2011 style pistol and had to go with trijicons optic plate system! Great quality and made in USA!
