I mounted this on my vortex 30mm LPVO, to the proper torque specs… mounted a holosun 507C-X2 on it. I'm a happy camper. This sits on top of a Aero Precision rifle. The 30 mm Trijicon mount holds tight enough that I was able to hold under 2 MOA at 100 yds with my holosun rmr… good enough for my purposes. If I need to reach out any further that's why I have an LPVO.

Incredibly disappointed in this mount. Using the included screws, I got the screw in about 80% of the way and it sheared off inside the mount. The mount was already hosed, so as an experiment I did the other side and the same thing happened. Two possibilities here:1. The included screws are so weak that they shear off under the torque of their own threadlocker. Maybe a bad batch of screws? I hadn't even gotten out my torque wrench yet (because I hadn't gotten the screws even close to fully tight).2. The included screws are too long, or the mount was insufficiently tapped. There are some holes in the bottom that look like they're intended to allow the screws to pass through, but it looks as though they're only tapped for part of the way down, and I'm not sure they're wide enough to let the screw keep going. The second screw sheared off high enough that I could twist it out with pliers, and I was able to test this with a third-party screw that was slightly shorter. No issues whatsoever.I gave Trijicon support a call and they made it sound like they were going to mail me a replacement part right away, and I would have been happy with that. However, a few hours later, they send me an email telling me to mail back the part, and to allow *8 weeks* for processing. WTF?Even if this was a $30 chinese mount I would be disappointed, but this is truly embarrassing for the price.

I read the other review on this product and thought perhaps they had just gotten unlucky. I was wrong. The screw snapped off for me as well. However, it snapped with enough sticking out that I could spin it out with plyers. Thankfully my RMR came with another set of screws. They also were VERY tight. So I decided to see if removing the factory applied thread lock on the screws would help. After torching the screws for a few minutes with a butane torch the thread lock had melted away some and settled down further in the threads. I was then able to get it to mount my RMR. What a pain in the butt! Sad this is one of the few options we have unless you want to get one of those chunker scope mounts with the option for an RMR top ring. For this price it is simply unacceptable that Trijicon has allowed this tolerance issue to continue.

Same screw thread issue as others, very poor quality control… you can do better Trijicon

Purchased this mount to attach my RMR to a Vortex LPVO with 30mm tube. It appears to be made of quality material, with a durable finish, and functions properly. I gave it 4 stars, instead of 5, only because the gap that remains between the two halves of the mounting ring is larger than I’m accustomed to seeing. However, I’ve had no issues with it shifting during use
