Easy and effective. These caps are great for protecting your glass surfaces on the go. I'm not sure if that's how it's designed, but I like to use the front cap with the cross section pointing out so the other end pushes slightly into the front of the sight creating a tight seal.Pros: Simple protectionCons: none

It could fit better – especially considering Trijicon made it. I do prefer it to the sock the ACOG comes with. Overall it’s what I wanted and isn’t too expensive. Hopefully it helps preserve the life of the glass.

So I put the smaller end over the eyepiece and that fits OK. When I put the larger end, cup, protruding into the forward tube recessed area, it touches the lens and puts a sizeable smear on it because the rubber is impregnated with something. Reversing the front end makes no sense. I have a standard TA31 4X32 ACOG.
