I recently acquired a Trijicon Patrol Red Dot. I held off buying a mount as I was not sure if I wanted a full co-witness or a 1/3. I read reviews and even though one review I read did not like this mount. I bought it anyway. Just have to make up my own mind.

I wasn't sure about this mount when I bought it, but after getting it and attaching it to my AR, I am glad that I went ahead and got it. This is a very well made mount and does not mar the rail when attaching it or removing it from the rifle. The large knob on the side allows for easy hand tightening & loosening without the need for a tool, unless you decide you won't be removing the sight. The return to zero, in my experience, is accurate. The fitment to the rail is tight and secure. I would highly recommend this QD mount to anyone looking to buy a QD mount for their MRO.

This is a great mount for the MRO. Aesthetically it is the best looking one I've personally found, I love the forward angle look. When I received it from OP, it only came with 2 screws instead of 4. I contacted customer service and they took care of it for me; I received 4 new screws the following week. Thumbs up for OP and Trijicon customer service.

after looking at all of the available QD mounts for the MRO optic I decided on the trijicon and was not disappointed. it is more than firmly mounted to the upper and easily detaches without tools. the return to zero is absolute.

  5. Eric

Nice piece of engineering, stout hardware that lifted my MRO up enough for co witness and good cheek weld height. Its been on 3 outings and worked mildly hard in the rain. Holds the MRO Zero without issue. I definitely like it.

Not sure if I got a bad one but mine didn’t seem to lock up at all. It just tightened like any other thumb screw. Maybe my expectations were skewed by the Aimpoint mount or something.Or perhaps I got a dud
