This is my first pistol optic. I did alot of research before buying. At first, it came down to Trijicon's original RMR or EOTech's EFLX. Well needless to say I went with Trijicon. I've bought quite a few of their iron night sights and I'm quite satisfied with the quality of their builds. The RMR HD is great in my opinion. I put it on my FN 545 and it runs just fine.

This red dot is the bigger and albeit more expensive big brother to the RMR type 2. Expect the same unequivocal bombproof durability in a nice newer slightly bigger windowed frame. It will take years to really get the full review of this unmatched red dot so I'll return with updates for any reason for concern. So far it's working as advertised in all regards presented and I am satisfied with the goods received and trust the lifetime warranty. I'd like to thank Optics planet and all involved who make and deliver these wonderful items to us every day. God bless you all.

So my order took a long time to arrive due to the demand for these, but man was it worth the wait. The sight has an amazing amount of clarity you get through the glass is impressive. I already took my SRO off my competition gun and replaced it with this RMRHD. I just wish they made something that would fit the rmsc cut.

The RMR HD is 100% worth it imo over an RMR/RMR2 at this point, Optic Planet’s price was great and the shipping was super fast…I was shocked bc most places claim to have them and then backtrack. Another win for Optic Planet in my book

Opticsplanet called me about my previous review of this product and asked if the issue had been resolved or if they could assist. They called unsolicited and said they were with opticsplanet but were calling at the request of Trijicon. They did not ask me to change my review, or offer me any special treatment in return for a positive review, they only asked if they could be of assistance. I told them of my issues zeroing the optic but mentioned that I’ve had previous experience where the reticle took a moment to catch up to the adjustment being made on the windage and elevation knobs. I told the rep I suspected this was the problem and would try to re-zero at a later time. Well I went to the range the following weekend and my suspicions were correct. After making adjustments I would wait ten to 15 seconds for the reticle to catch up and was able to get the optic zeroed without issue. The optic is amazing and loaded with features, my favorite being the lockout mode, dot only. I also like that you can set the dot intensity in auto brightness mode. So after rezeroing the opticsplanet rep called me again. I told him of my success with the optic and even told him I tried to edit my first review of the optic but wasn’t able to. He then asked me if I would like him to remove the review ( something that users/reviewers can’t do ) I told him no and that it was important people knew of my true experiences with the optic. I did however tell the rep that a would post a second fallow on review which this is. I can now give the optic five stars.
