Really great product from Trijicon to cover a different application.I run a RMR on my carry gun and love it. The design that makes it so rugged though makes it a small window compared to other options. But seeing everything is more important than ultimate ruggedness at a match or competition. That's the reason for the SRO.A larger window and deep housing gives a "tube"-like orientation feedback making it nearly impossible to "lose the dot".Can't run irons forward with the SRO but again, not a "duty" optic like the RMR. I don't even have iron sights on my gamer gun.So glad they offer this is 1MOA too. It is the best. Now I have a pistol optic optimized for a specific application on each of my guns.

Threw the sro 5moa on a Benelli m4, its perfect. Bought the metal housing that goes around it from another site and its like this thing was made for it. Outstanding. Could not reccomend enough. Works for everything from slugs to trap shooting.

  3. The Glock Man

This, is my third TRIJICON SRO 5.0 MOA i have them on my Glock 19 Gen 5 MOA, Glock 17 Gen 5 MOA, Glock 45 Gen 5 MOA i love this optic i used to have Trijicon Red Dot RMR Type 2 adjustable 6.5 Moa on two of my Glock pistols but i sold both of the Trijicon Red Dot RMR Type 2 adjustable 6.5 MOA when the Trijicon Sro came out. The reason i sold them was you had to take the RMR off when you had to change the battery and then you had to rezero it in each time you did this and it had a smaller window it was harder to find the dot when you first draw from your holster. The reason i bought the Trijicon SRO was it has a much larger window when you draw from your holster the dot is always there it has a much crisper dot and the top loading battery you never have to remove the SRO and rezero it and i love the lock in feature what ever brightness setting you choose you can lock that setting in that way that brightness stays on that setting all the time until you decide to change it I LOVE THIS TRIJICON SRO THANK YOU TRIJICON.

I have a few sro’s they are all fantastic. The only negative thing is the price.

  5. Pendergrass John

It is very expensive. I don’t know why. Then you have to buy a $100 adapter to get this to work on your pistol. I hope it has a lifetime warranty.

Hi I purchased this optic to go on my S&W 500 top picatinny rail. I also bought a Trijicon low profile RMR mount. Mounting it up was easy they ship them with all the tools needed in you dont have any of your own. First on all the sight looks bad real tuff on that big revoler, I bore sighted it and only have had to move it slightly to the right. The sight comes perfectly centered from the factory according to the manual. I love the way the sight looks and how easy it is to see and aim the red dot. The field of view is amazing, and adustments are very presise. My only complants is the buttons are kinda hard or stiff to mash, and I dont fully understand what the lockout features actally do. Plus I figured out you have to wait a few minutes before you can turn it off. You turn it on and immediately wont to turn it off it will just jump through diffent modes, so wait a minute and mash both buttons and it will turn off.
