I purchased the TA51 to mount a TA01 on my AR-15. The process was very easy and the TA51 has performed well. I have fired over 500 rounds and removed the ACOG several times and it's still right on the zero at 100 yards. I highly recommend the TA51.Pros: very easy to set up, very strong and stableCons: haven't found any yet

I have never been disappointed with Trijicon products. They are excellent quality. The only negative is the price premium Trijicon charges for their products prevents me from buying a higher volume of their products.

Trijicon makes the best Scopes, Sights, and adapters, period. Our Soldiers, Special Forces, and Navy Seals use them because they are rugged and dependable. I purchased this adapter for my CAR-15 ACOG Scope so the Scope would be mounted more inline with the barrel than up high on the carry handle. This allows for better alignment of the scope at close and distant ranges. As with all Trijicons, they carry a lifetime warranty. I have had my ACOG Scope for 16 years, and just sent it back to the factory for a checkup and service. I doubt anything new can be said.. Just used this to mount a Trijicon TA11C 3 x 35 ACOG to a Bushmaster XM-10 .308 ORC. I have not fired the rifle yet but It locked tight and does what it is supposed to do. I don't know yet whether I'll use lock tight on it but it is on rock solid without it right now.

thumb nuts can loosen under vibration. I found that applying ONE drop of blue thread locker and letting it dry overnight on the bare threads before tightening the thumb screws gave just enough 'stick' to keep them from moving, but still allows easy removal.Pros: solidCons: can loosen

If you get an ACOG without the picatinny mount I definitely cannot recommend this mount enough. Fits my Trijicon ACOG 4×32 Scope perfectly out of the box, all tools and screws included in the package.
