Is the trijicon tenmile ffp 4.5×30 56 sold new or use? I purchased one an when I received it the box has been opened before and there are fingerprints on the scope! Make me wonder if it refurbished or display model?

This scope appears to be very well made. I am going to put it though it’s paces and see how it performs, I think it will be a good one.

There isn’t a ton of info out there on this piece of glass. I put it through 3 long days of shooting close to 600 rds. It performed flawlessly. Shot with a small group of and those guys were all running leupold, night force, Steiner and Zeiss. I got to get behind all of those and still after that was extremely satisfied with my Trijicon. Clarity is awesome. Mid day in the high desert past 800 yards I’d pick up some boiling mirage but I was seeing that in all the glass. Mornings and evenings you could be on full power and parallax & clarity was still incredible. I love the reticle and the FFP is perfect. It comes with the best accessories as well.I wish it had locking turrets sand I wish a return to zero didn’t require a tool but that is it. The glass gets you what all the big names get you but at a better price. IMO Trijicon is underrated in this arena for what it is.

I purchased this optic for one of my .338 Lapua Magnum weapon systems. It set up easily, has no blurry peripheral edge, zeroed easily and the glass is crystal clear. The quality and features are equal to two of my other known brand optics priced at $3000+.

You can buy this scope with your eyes closed. I didn’t know much about the brand until I read the history behind the company and the quality of their products.

I have used many different scopes in this price range and greater including many nightforce NXS’s and ATACR’s, Zeiss Conquest 5’s, bushnell XRS’s and ERS’s, leupold mark 5hd’s, etc. i have to say that this scope holds up well compared to all of these. If you’re trying to save a thousand dollars go with the trijicon, you wont be disappointed. I found that it felt like it was in between a nightforce NXS and ATACR. The quality of this scope is top notch like most made in japan in this price range. The glass is extremely clear and the edges are as well. The eye box is smaller when at 30x, but that is normal in any scope. It doesn’t loose any clarity at 30x like some lower end scopes do. In addition, the parallax on this scope is very precise and useful for doing ranging as it has specific labeled ticks out to 1000. This scope feels heavier than leupolds mark 5hd line, but it feels slightly lighter than the high end japanese bushnells. The turrets have probably the best tactile clicks and alighnment of any scope i have used. This can however differ between scopes, so your milage may vary. IF YOU ARE ON THE EDGE, GO FOR IT. YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED!
