Description

The Trijicon 1-6×24 VCOG® (Variable Combat Optical Gunsight) is a rugged variable powered riflescope that accommodates close quarter battle (CQB) and long distance marksmanship. It features superior glass quality and light gathering capabilities with zero distortion. The bullet drop compensating and ranging reticles of these AR15 Rifle Scopes allow for the shooter to quickly and accurately estimate range and apply the correct hold. The first focal plane reticle allows the subtensions and drops to remain true at any magnification. With a forged 7075-T6 aircraft-aluminum-alloy housing, the Trijicon VCOG 1-6×24 Rifle Scope with TA51 Mount is an exceptionally durable and nearly indestructible sighting system. Robust enough for any application, the VCOG utilizes a single AA battery, commonly found across the globe and offers 6 adjustable brightness settings for the LED reticle. When powered by a lithium AA battery (like the one provided), it boasts a considerable battery life of 700 hours at setting 4 (constant on). An integrated dial fin allows easy rotation through the magnification range and a constant eye relief means no head or stock position adjustments are needed. Waterproof to 20 meters (66 ft.). The saying, "you get what you pay for comes to mind." While this scope is expensive, it is an excellent optic. Everything works exactly as advertised. Of all the 1-6x scopes out there, this is definitely the best one I have come across. Couldn't be happier with it.

I did alot of research . started out looking at red dot eotech , then graduated to looking at all the different acogs. and finally after much dillibrition talked my self in to spending the money for the VCOG… wow am I glad I did . What a well built scope . The weight doesnt seem to bother me at all .its amazing how well you can see in low lite. Thanks Trijicon. Only complaint is price ……… but seems to be worth it.

Bought this for my Socom II when I had difficulty or dislikes with other scopes. Sighting in was a breeze and after removing and reattaching with the quick attach mount that came with it, I had no trouble remaining on target. The glass is super nice and it is easy to acquire the target even with these old eyes.

If you are looking for a tactical do everything scope, look no further. The only thing I did notice on with my AR is that I did need a perfect check weld every time. Wilson Combat Recon Tactical chambered in 5.56. I have enjoyed this optic while training for three gun competition. The ability to adjust on the fly while moving is a big plus. Exactly what I was looking for. Optics planet is very easy to order from and so friendly. Thank you!

After months of researching, I chose to go with this scope. It's mounted on a SCAR17.I haven't had the chance to properly put it through it's paces, though. I have had it out once – to sight it in, but that was it. Pros – Love the reticle – it's actually bigger and more useful than it seems at 1x. The eye relief is actually pretty great. I had to move the scope quite a ways from the back of the rail. It actually sits dead center of the gun. All controls are phenomenal – turret caps are fantastic, turrets are very solid clicks but easily manipulable. Reticle on/off switch is amazing – off between every brightness setting. Zoom adjustment is smooth if a little stiff (which isn't a problem).Weight wise – it's not that different from a lot of others. The Razor HDII was a consideration – but after you add a solid quick detach mount – you are in the same weight range. The trijicon and ACOG name. Lens pen that comes with it is excellentCons – Not enough time to shoot it. 🙂 Still a little heavier than I would want, but it's doable.

Excellent, is available vs Schist & Bender, cross hairs a little think, but overall quality build. Would buy again. Mount is solid and returns to zero, very easy to attach and remove. Does not come with lanyards, and is a must to not lose caps. Is not light weight, but neither is the rifle.
