This design has been around for a long time. The product came with a crush washer (don't know if that was mentioned in the description when I bought it) still, a good thing to have/know.Why did I buy it. The Springfield Saint Edge I put it on as a wonderful factory muzzle break, but it's loud and very bright in low light conditions. This hider/compensator is supposed to kick a little more, but I don't notice it. I do notice a slight difference in volume, and a big difference in flash.It's built solid and fair priced from a good company.

Bought (4) and even though description states includes crush washer none were included.Ordered (2) more and still no crutch washers.Beside that all is well.

Exactly like the standard flash hider on the M4 and M16

delivered fast and great product but did not come with a crush washer luckily there's a gun and knife show local i think i can find a crush washer

It's the Mil-Spec size A2 Birdcage muzzle device 1/2 x 28 threads. It came with a crush washer.

The 9MM flash hider has 1/2"-36 threads. I've never heard of a barrel threaded with these threads. I can't use this on my barrel
