This slide is just what I needed for my G17. The fit is correct and the cut for the red dot is perfect. I also really enjoy the forward serrations and the lightening of the slide by cutting a hole in the forward section. All in all, this will be my favority gun now amoung many.

I was hesitant on buying this considering how many features you get for the money. Over all I’m very pleased. The cerakote is even and looks amazing. All the cuts and notches were burr free and installation was easy. If you’re wanting a optics cut slide without breaking the bank then this is the one.

I recieved the stripped rmr cut slide for my gen 3 G17. I double check the slide and channels for abnormalities, and it was clean. I parted out my OEM slide parts and affixed striker, extractor etc to Trybe slide. Did i function test and all seemed well. I attached the swampfox liberty rmr to the slide which is a 99.5% fit. Without actually sending freedom seeds down range, it seems to be in perfect function and order. Will update once ive dumped a few mags for thorough review.

I’ve found a few negative reviews on here about this slide. I personally have put well over 5k rounds through it and it runs like a champ. I was left with few options a while back due to panic buying. They had a couple of these in stock so I took the gamble despite the harsh reviews. Finish is still solid, not really much wear anywhere on the slide. Rmr cut is precise. Front sight screw sits flush. Chanel is machined fine (Chanel liner fit like a Glove). Rear dove tail was perfectly fine. I review a comment on here complaining the slide didn’t work and they had to remove the back plate???… that’s a user error pal. Some else said Chanel liner was messed up so they sent the slide back??? How about pull the Chanel liner out and replace? Overall I’m very satisfied. The set up I have this on fun’s flawlessly and spot on accurate.

PROS: I bought this slide to go on a Glock 17, its RMR cut, my red dot bolted up with no problems. I used an OEM upper Glock parts kit that went in without any problems. Coating seemed like good quality, but only time will tell. Now for the CONS: I used some blue Loctite and it seems that one of the holes for the bolt is cut all the way into the slide, where the Loctite got onto the slide and caused some sticking issues. Second issue is the corners catch on my TRex arms holster, not a big deal. Overall I still recommend this, good quality, good price

I bought this slide for my Glock 17 and it seems like it is milled out of solid aluminum. It fit my glock lower without issue. However when I went to install the upper parts kit the extractor depressor wouldn't drop into it's slot. I turned on my flashlight to look down the slide and realized there was a massive burr in the center of the hole the extractor depressor drops into that was never fully drilled out. Fortunately I had a file kit with a small round file that fit and after about 10 minutes I was able to get the burr smoothed out and install the extractor depressor and spring. This is obviously a Quality Assurance issue with TRYBE. They need to work on checking these before sending them out. For the price though I would still order it again. It also looks killer with a gold threaded TRYBE barrel I bought. (note the TRYBE barrel I bought needed slight filing also to fit properly so just seems that TRYBE doesn't fully check their work before sending it out)
