Description

If you want to increase your accuracy and gain speed in your target acquisition, look no further than the TRYBE Optics 3-18x50mm FFP HIPO Rifle Scope. Masterfully designed using industry-leading glass optics and technology, this 3-18 magnification scope will dramatically improve your shooting efficiency. Our PLR-25 first focal plane (FFP) reticle matches the MOA adjustments on our turrets, which have an adjustment click value of ¼” at 100 yards. FFP reticle placement means your reticle will hold the same relationship with your target at all magnifications, making range finding and ballistic calculations a breeze at any magnification. Highly sensitive and accurate windage and elevation turrets ensure that your zero will remain rock-solid through recoil, and quality glass allows our fully multicoated lenses to transmit maximum light to your eye. Each click of the dial moves your point of impact (POI) ¼” at 100 yards, and rigorous quality control means that your zero will remain solid, regardless of what you put your TRYBE HIPO (High-Power Optic) scope through. Equipped with a fast focus (FF) eyepiece to achieve an ultra-crisp reticle image, this rifle scope offers maximum reticle sharpness to any operator. Also included is a parallax and focus adjustment dial to eliminate parallax error on the target in focus, and yardage markers on the dial approximate placement for parallax-free focus. Designed to provide superb contrast and excellent color saturation, all TRYBE Optics Rifle Scopes are 100% waterproof, fog proof, and recoil proof. can't beat this for under $300. FFP is nice and the eyebox is truly forgiving. Optics appear clear and it is easy to see through and get on target. The 3 – 18 magnification range is indeed good for a lot of different situations. I expect we will see more scopes with a 3 – 18 or 4 – 24 (6x) range of magnification. I like the wide 50 mm lens but this is neither a giant beast of a 56mm+ scope nor is it at all small. It is a pretty big scope and it mounted fine using 1.0 inch medium Vortex rings on a Evolution Gun Works Picatinny rail mount on a new Browning A-Bolt 3 in 6.5 Creedmoor. I think I could have lowered the scope a little bit and been fine with the 0.83 inch high "low" rings on this particular rifle, even though the 50 mm objective lens is large. 30 mm mounting rings and/or rail combinations are a little tricky to find for the AB3. I would have tried and preferred one-piece direct mounting but ended up with the rings and rail. My only wish is for a similar scope that doesn't cost $200 more with a lighted reticle. And I really like the attached flip-up lens caps so I don't drop them in the deer stand. The magnification knob is a bit hard to turn and could be improved with a handle. I have another Vortex scope with even harder to turn, so this one isn't that bad. I can't wait to get more time and get used to this new scope from Trybe. I'm deciding if I want to get another one for my .270 Winchester and if I'll be more of a Trybe fan than a Vortex fan. I probably would have purchased the Trybe rings instead of the Vortex if they had gone on sale a few days sooner, but the Vortex was a lot cheaper when I placed my order.

I have several Much More Expensive Long Range side focus target scopes, and with the exception of not having an illuminated reticle, this Trybe HIPO first focal plane performs just as well as the more expensive brands. Most illuminated reticles don't perform very well in bright sunlight anyway, so unless you really need the fancier reticles for your style of shooting, this brand will definitely likely fill the bill for a fraction of the price.

Very good quality for the money extremely clear , only issue I have noticed the zoom ring is a bit hard to twist other than that well worth the money. Compares well to other scopes I have that were much more expensive.

I do not write many reviews but I felt that I needed to for this scope. I have many Vortex Viper scopes and this glass is WAY clearer as well as the eye relief on this thing is crazy too. I will be buying another for my next build. It performs as well as scopes priced 3-4 times more expensive.

I have this HIPO 3-18×50 in the FDE version on my Remington R-25 in .308 Winchester. This gun has been to Alaska, Montana, and Oregon for various big game. I wanted to replace the optic with a 6x erector assembly in a 3-18 magnification range as it is mainly a hunting gun. 3x is fine on low end, and 18x is plenty on the high end for my use. I expect my maximum comfortable shot on an elk, for instance, would be maybe 400 yards or so if I was comfortable. This optic is satisfyingly bright and has excellent edge to edge clarity. I've had second focal plane optics on this gun for previous hunts, but the FFP craze affected me and I rolled over. The reticle and the adjustments on this scope are both in MOA, and I've always found inches easier than MILs. Now my holdovers are accurate at any magnification, unlike SFP scopes. This HIPO 3-18 has a large magnification dial and it's easy to use with gloved or frozen hands. An extension lever is included to help catch on things in the field, if you like. Helpful at the range, I guess. I Love the solid adjustments. The turrets feel crisp when adjusting and the POI moves where it's supposed to, every time, even on this big thing. Different loads were easy to zero by counting clicks. Dials are easily resettable to zero.Solid, dependable optic choice for me on top of this semi-auto hunting gun, which is in effect, is a poor-man's version of Knight's SR25 and other variants used by military snipers worldwide. This gun is not pretty nor babied and it has mismatched camo replacement parts. The scope has a few chips on it from range tables and safe-banging. I do have the occasion to go long with it. Long on a target is a lot longer than long on a critter. This is my choice of quality optic in a 3-18x magnification range, a 50mm objective lens for a good exit pupil in low light conditions, solid movements, great glass, no BS.

Really can't beat the versatility of the 3-18 range of this scope. Very clear throughout the magnification range, very effective reticle. This thing is built like a tank, punches way above it's price. Like it so much,I'm probably going to purchase the 6-24 version also.
