Leave it on setting 6 and change the battery once a year. The batteries are cheap and the optic is basic but does everything youd want it to.With the warranty the extra mounting options and the price i couldnt pass it up.

I cannot believe anyone could find negatives about this red dot. I suggest you ignore the negative comments in the reviews. This is a great red dot if you want to keep it simple and hit your point of aim this scope is for you. You put the red dot on the target and you hit it. I did not need the night vision capability but I did not pay a premium for it so not an issue. The 11 brightness levels are more than adequate and typically use 6 or 7 for day hunting. Once sighted in it holds the settings as good as you could want. The size is perfect and adds miniscule weight to you fire arm. I have two of these and will probably buy a third for another one of my rifles. You cannot beat the price and the Vortex warranty is great.

Crossfire is a very nice red dot. This is my second. Both are on ARs. They work great every time. Mount quickly and stay securely on rail. Excellent warranty from Vortex too. Great price with fast shipping.

I bought this sight because I realized the sub $50 red dot sights were basically garbage. I also saw that my range sells Vortex optics, so I googled best red dot sights and stumbled upon Vortex. After hours of research I decided to try the Vortex Crossfire II, and it has exceeded my expectations. I have it mounted low on my Beraetta CX4 Storm. I love it. It's tough and it holds zero like a hobo on a ham sandwich. Rock solid. once I got it zero'd I put multiple rounds through the same hole in the bullseye. I added the lens flip caps which are made for the Vortex Sparc II. Accurate, sleek, rugged, reasonably priced, and don't forget the "no questions asked" guarantee (not warranty) and I don't see any other option. It's great red dot, I will not complain about anything with this red dot. Deadly accurate.

This is a good choice if you're looking for a simple no frills red dot. The adjustments are easy to use to zero the optic. The dot is plenty bright in full sun and has plenty of range for low light settings. Comes with the high and low mount.
