Good value scope with desired magnification. I like everything about this scope; however, the image clarity is OK but not as good as the high-end scopes. But I'm over 70, so it might be my eyesight…

Ordering was easy. Shipped as promised with in two days The only problem was ,not with the Optic Planet, but with UPS sending them the wrong tracking number, when I tried to track with the number that UPS sent it would show that it was delivered last year. I called and talked to customer service I was told that the scope had been shipped and that UPS was to send me a new tracking number which they never did. I received the scope within two weeks, I know that it was due to the weather in the North. all in all everything worked out everyone is happy. Optic Planet is a good company to deal with and I will again order from them.

I bought a Savage Axis 2 Creedmoor 6.5 and this scope came with it. I removed the scope and put it on my dad’s 40 year old 30-06. Talk about recoil?? I never know a rifle could kick like a 12 gauge shot gun but this old gun punches you good. It’s important to make that first shot count and the Vortex Crossfire 2 does a fantastic job. Holds zero- no problem- crystal clear glass and holdovers for the long shot. This is perfect for the new AR owner- don’t waste time with all the fancy fads and gimmicks. When its time shoot, the 4x is what they use in the military – close quarters. At the range the 12x will let you see the holes as you make them at 100 yards. I’ve tried all the neat laser, reflex blah blah blah- In the end, i bought a simple scope 4-16x and I wish I had just kept the scope for my AR. Pick up the cantilever and this scope is a one size fits all for the serious hunter or the serious range goer. Quick release and this becomes a scope for all your guns.

I debated on getting the crossfire ii because of past problems with the crosshairs twisting. I sighted it in on a 22-250 and after 10 shots the crosshairs were crooked. Overall I like the scope and Vortex has great customer service and repaired it promptly and Opticsplanet was will to accept the return if needed. I have yet to try it since the repair but I will update you then. Pros: Customer service of vortex

I bought this scope for my Howa 1500 Ranchland in .243. I put it on medium height Vortex HS rings. Basically this scope easily compares to my Bushnell Elite 3200. The optics are bright, clear, and the reticle is fantastic. Adjustments are easy and precise. Fit and finish is definitely excellent. I hope to never use Vortex's warranty, but I'm aware that it is second to none (other than possibly Leupold). I don't have any $500 scopes to compare to, but I don't have a rifle expensive enough to justify much more than this scope. The value proposition on this model is hard to beat. Compares easily to the Burris Fullfield II I'd been looking through and thinking about (for almost 2x). I new I had a good thing when the turret cover aligned the Vortex logo perfectly when tightened down. Excellent.Pros: Brightness, Clarity, Build Quality, ReticleCons: None Yet
