I have several guns, some scoped, some iron sights. In this case, I was looking for scope suitable for 22 LR bench resting at targets from 15 yds to 200 yards. I chose this magnification range since 22 LR is primary use but the scope works great with higher power rifles. The best thing about this scope is parallax adjustment down to 10 yards. While side parallax would be nice to have, the front objective parallax adjust works fine for bench resting. With rings that fit a picatinny rail, I easily and quickly change the scope from one rifle to another, e.g. flat top AR or Rem 700.

If you put this on a Flat top Ar15 use Xtra High ring mounts if you use High mounts it will Barely rub when you turn the Objective ring. But i love this scope it is very clear and and i love the 50 mm field of view.

This thing was PERFECT for my AR and Vortex Crossfire scope! These two products were made for each other and I would highly recommend them to anyone who has been looking for the right fit. Optics Planet shipped it out quickly through regular mail and I couldn't wait to see how it would work. I've probably tried 3 or 4 different setups and ended up using them on other firearms because it just wasn't what I expected or needed for the Bushmaster M4. Thanks OPTICSPLANET.com

Worth the price with many options and choices, clear optics with options, lifetime warranty, no brainer. Shipping was fast and I'm completely satisfied. Not to thrilled about the shipper placing package on or near my mailbox for someone to steal. Optics Planet prints their logo on the packaging, would be better left blank.

I'm generally not a fan of scopes with BDC reticles, but I decided to not use the BDC and treat it like a regular duplex anyways. For my purposes, it's really a great scope. I lovelovelovelovelove the 50mm objective! It soaks in so much light! I try to follow a rule that I set for myself, that the size of the objective should be greater than or equal to 4 times the highest magnification. Highest power is 12, so 4×12=48, and 50 (size of objective) is greater than 48, so that satisfies the rule I try to follow. I don't often use 12X power, but I'm always glad to have that big objective when I do find myself zooming way in.The "AO" (adjustable objective) feature is a thing that I prefer over side-mounted focus adjustment. Personal preference, but whatever. However, I do *insist* on having adjustable focus on my scopes. I've noticed that many not-adjustable scopes come from the factory calibrated to focus at 60 yards… what the heck? Who shoots at 60 yards? Why is that the industry standard? Seems dumb to me, but I see it a lot. So, I basically don't buy a scope unless I can adjust the focal length. For about $200, this scope is hard to beat.

This scope provides amazing light gathering and has allowed superb accuracy to be proven on a Howa Mini 6.5 Grendel.
