Everytime vortex updates a product, it goes from a good value to a great value.I had their VMX magnifier and for the money, it was nice. I just wasn't a big fan of the setup especially with a simple dot reticle in my optic.Now that I am running a couple complex reticle red dots (circle dots, ballistic circle dots, acss) I wanted to try a magnifier again.2.6 inches of relief is tight but it is definitely better than any other magnifier i have used. I am running buis less and less as the quality of optics and my typical usage makes them unnecessary so I the placement of this magnifier doesnt bother me.Compact design, solid mount with positive engagement for both closed and open positions.Time will tell if I keep this setup but it is noticeably better than the last time i tried it out and it has more potential thanks to the reticle options for red dots these days.

Very quick on and off- small footprint on rail, and handy lever to quickly move out of the way. Let’s light in well, even directly behind a reflex sight, and very clear for the price. Even comes with an ok bikini-style lens cap. I’ve been using with the Razor UH1, and getting very good results out to 300 yards (great for my bad eyes).

This 3x magnifier is exactly as advertised. High quality, great fit. Works perfectly on my AR with my Aimpoint Pro. My only disappointment was the Made in China sticker. I’m keeping it, but I wouldn’t have ordered it had I known.

This is behind an MRO HD 1/3 co-witness. I lost the height shim to make the magnifier 1/3 co-witness and contacted Vortex to buy one. They weren’t having it. Said I have a warranty and that they would send one out free of charge. No questions and didn’t require a proof of purchase. I got the shim yesterday and they even threw in a Vortex hat! Definitely a company that knows how to keep customers happy!

Super clear vision,the flip system work perfect and is very simple and practice. I use this with Holosun HS510C red dot and the height match perfect. the lens fit is slightly stiff but I think it needs to be to maintain a solid distance fit. I highly recommend this combination.

I would say this is the "best bang for your buck" cliche but this is simply the best 3x magnifier (or at least top 3) for the following reasons:1. Size2. Looks great3. Price4. Glass5. Eye relief (almost 4 inches on mine)6. Height options (if you contact vortex after you buy you can request that they send you a 1.93 spacer plate to install if you have a scalarworks 1.93 mount for your primary optic.)I'm done.
