Boght this to go on my zeiss 20-60×85 gavia scope. Fits pretty snug. The zipper openings make it a somewhat universal fit for other scopes. I can leave it on and leave my scope mounted to the tripod all the time. Pretty durable and easy to use. My only disappointment is that there is little to no padding to protect from damage.

This case will fit many of the full-size (80mm) objective spotting scopes, at a reasonable price.Other premium scope manufacturers charge in the area of $300 for a soft case. This one from Vortex will do the same job for considerably less.

Bought this to go with my Vortex Viper spotting scope. Looks nice and great design BUT poor padding (you can literally hear it compress /crackle when you pinch the case) and it does NOT fit when my scope is in the neoprene sleeve that came with the scope. Why would the case not fit over both?? Even without the neoprene sleeve, it’s a really tight fit. So now my choices are the slippery neoprene sleeve that seems to offer some protection or the case that has a convenient strap but not much protection. I would expect the sizing to be a little more thoughtful…

A great case for my Diamondback spotting scope. The only thing I wish I could change is that they had a hard case available. This does take up less space, though, so I'm totally happy with Vortex quality yet again.
