Vortex hd4000 gb is a one sweet range finder , Its fast , light, battery lasts for ever , balistic app is ok , strelock has better options as a balistic app. One negative thing i can say about vortex range finder is wind adjustment buttons hard to press and located in akward location. Also manu display words are something to be desired, hard to tell what that scrible means

The product is good, but the warranty is amazing.Glass is par with other $300 RF's with a lesser warranty.The accuracy is spot on with just about any other high end unit.I use Vortex binos and range finder while hunting, but my rifle scope I go for only the best all around scope in my opinion (NF).

This thing is a do-it-all tool from ranging, to ballistic calcs. Seems pretty imntimidating at first but once you get into it the menus & settings are very intuitive and easy to learn. Only used it twice so far but am looking forward to really putting it thru it's paces in the coming weeks.

Fantastic product that was easy to set up and use. I had the GB app set up with my rifles in the range finder within an hour. Easily hit ranges to 2200, but have not tried much further yet.

I caution you not to pay for the geobalistic app.As I did I set that up per vortex instructions and then you get a free version which created a bunch of issues with the range finder working correctly , but once it was corrected with customer service , it works like a charm.

Recently received my new Vortex Rangefinder. Things I like. The ease of connection to both my phones and app. The “free” multiple rifle app that allows you to have unlimited rifle/bullet combinations. The brightness settings are adjustable for low light as well as sunlight. The display is easily visible, even in the bright sunlight. The display is busy but useful and easy to understand the information that is given to you. Ranging is quick with consistent results. Glass is very clear and crisp The on board atmospheric measurements make long range shooting much more precise.The only con and its minor is the unit is a little heavy, but with everything in this size of package it is expectedAlso, with a lifetime warranty you can’t go wrong.
