I can't say enough about how impressed I am with vortex. I took a chance on them and haven't been let down at all. everybody talks about the warranty but in what I've experienced so far, I highly doubt I'll ever need to use it. I have a few of their products besides this scope and they all perform perfectly and exactly as advertised! vortex takes care of their customers when most of the other companies couldn't care less if they give you a solid product or not. the reticle is well made and easy to use. the nobs and dials on the scope or tactile and crisp! when I need another scope, I will definitely be picking up another vortex.

This definitely isn't my Leopold mark5 clarity, however for the money (on sale) 600$ ish it is a great option for a scope to bounce from gun to gun. It is currently sitting on top of my 450 bushmaster and I can easily make out and identify deer and their antlers out beyond 700yds right at legal shooting light. Good all-around scope.

I had a Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25×56 on a Christiansen Rigeline 6.5 PRC. It’s a great scope, but just a little heavy and big for this gun. I just put on the new 3-18X 44 Strike Eagle and it’s a much better fit to the gun. As always Vortex quality is great and you can’t beat their customer service and warranty. This is my ninth Vortex optic. What more can I say.

Quality scope. Lenses are great, controls all feel good. Reticle and illumination are sharp.

1.) We don't need more 3 or 4 to anything optics. 2.) Strike eagles are supposed to be the budget friendly line so not over $500. We are looking for a similar quality scope, 2-12, parallax adjustable, DAYLIGHT Bright illumination, preferably SFP, but if FFP it still has to be useable for snap shooting, generous eye relief and eye box, Christmas tree reticle, capped turrets is fine especially on windage, but either way elevation should have zero stop, oh yeah and under 18 oz.
