I recently started building my first AR, this tool kit makes it a lot easier. The only problem is that the upper receiver has to be removed to us the gas tube alignment tool, but this is only a minor inconvenience.

Nice set of tools I always use wheeler and optics planet has the best deals on them …. I’d recommend. It is easy to use and great to put together a rifle . Bought a couple of these one for a gift . If u need a good tool set order one

With this kit, I compeltly upgraded my M&P15 and made it free float. The quality and te accuracy of each tool is there. Most certently you get what you pay for, and it it worth it. Im actually going to upgrade a second AR type rifle and do the same thing that I did with my AR.

Have used this kit on an AR build and also for replacing a barrel. As long as you have access to a vise, this kit provides just about everything you need and the parts are built solid. Only problems I encountered were with the multi-tool. The 3/4" cut-out for flash hiders is too small (about 0.65") and the buffer tube lock nut wrench was too large. Using painter's tape solved the latter, while using a normal 3/4" wrench solved the former, but defeats the point of the multi-tool, which is a shame because it's one of the best constructions I've seen for them. Otherwise, this kit is wort the money considering the torque wrench, upper vise block, and magazine well block. Pros: Solid parts, very useful selectionCons: Multi-tool not very multi-useful

First, Optics Planet didn’t package the manufacturers box in any way and it arrived trashed with big holes after a longer than typical wait on shipping. I give Optics Planet 1 Star.The package on its face has almost everything you need. But the set is such low quality and poor fit that it’s worth piecing this together yourself for not much more money.The torque wrench is horrible, the pin set is not well sized, and the armorers wrench didn’t fit any of my parts well.Great concept as a set, but suffers from poor execution.
