However, we understand that sometimes returns or refunds may be necessary. Our Refund & Returns Policy ensures a smooth and transparent process while maintaining compliance with industry standards and legal requirements.

1. General Return Policy
Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns within 30 days from the date you receive your order under the following conditions:
✅ The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original packaging with all included accessories, manuals, and tags.
✅ The product must not be damaged, altered, or modified.
✅ You must provide a valid proof of purchase (Order ID or Invoice).
✅ You must obtain a Return Authorization Number (RAN) before shipping your item back to us.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain products cannot be returned due to safety regulations and legal restrictions, including:
❌ Firearms & Ammunition (due to safety and licensing laws).
❌ Hazardous Materials (primers, powders, explosives, flammable liquids).
❌ Custom or Special Orders (items that were customized or specially ordered for you).
❌ Perishable Items (food, first-aid kits, water purification tablets, etc.).
❌ Used or Damaged Items (products that show signs of use, wear, or damage).
💡 Before placing an order, ensure you select the right product to avoid the need for returns.
2. How to Request a Return
To request a return, follow these steps:
Step 1: Contact Our Support Team
- Email us at support@canadaoutdoorgear.com with the subject line: “Return Request – [Your Order ID]”.
- Include your order details, reason for the return, and photos (if applicable).
Step 2: Receive Your Return Authorization Number (RAN)
- Our team will review your request and, if approved, issue a Return Authorization Number (RAN).
- We will provide you with the return shipping address and instructions.
Step 3: Pack & Ship the Item
- Securely package the item in its original packaging with all accessories.
- Write your Return Authorization Number (RAN) on the outside of the package.
- Ship the item back using a reliable shipping service with tracking.
- You are responsible for the return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.
Step 4: Inspection & Refund Processing
- Once we receive the returned item, our team will inspect it to ensure it meets the return conditions.
- If approved, we will issue a refund or store credit within 5-10 business days.
- If rejected (due to damage, use, or missing components), we will notify you with options.
3. Refund Policy
When Will I Receive My Refund?
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, the refund process typically takes 5-10 business days. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Refund Payment Methods
💰 Bitcoin – If you paid with Bitcoin, we will issue a Bitcoin refund at the current market rate.
💰 Interac E-transfer & Bank Transfer – Refunds will be sent back to the original account.
💰 PayPal – If you paid via PayPal, your refund will be processed to your PayPal account.
Shipping Costs & Fees
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
- If your order included a hazmat fee ($15 for hazardous materials), this fee is non-refundable.
4. Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you need a different item, you will need to:
- Return the original product following our return process.
- Place a new order for the replacement item.
This ensures faster processing and minimizes delays.
5. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you received an item that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, please contact us immediately within 48 hours of delivery.
Steps to Report an Issue:
- Take clear photos of the product and the packaging.
- Email support@canadaoutdoorgear.com with your Order ID, description of the issue, and photos.
- Our team will assess the situation and provide a free replacement or refund if the issue is verified.
📢 Important: If the shipping box is visibly damaged upon delivery, take photos before opening the package and report it to the carrier immediately.
6. Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order before it has shipped by contacting us at canadaoutdoorgear@gmail.com.
Cancellation Conditions:
- If your order has NOT been processed yet, you will receive a full refund.
- If your order has already shipped, it cannot be canceled, but you may initiate a return after receiving it.
- Orders for firearms, ammunition, and hazardous materials cannot be canceled once placed.
7. International Orders & Customs
Do You Accept Returns from International Customers?
Yes, but international customers must:
- Cover all return shipping costs and customs fees.
- Ensure the item is legally eligible for return based on their country’s regulations.
Customs & Import Restrictions
We do not offer refunds for:
- Items seized or delayed by customs due to import restrictions.
- Customers refusing to pay custom duties or import taxes.
