Combining pivot and traverse functions with a time-tested bipod design, the Traverse Pivot Bipod is an industry first. The new horizontal traverse feature allows you to steadily track a moving target or change from target to target without repositioning the firearm. And when you’re shooting on an uneven surface, the pivot action lets you swivel the firearm to either side, giving you a level shooting platform. easily and securely mounts to front swivel stud in seconds. there is an padding under the mount that will prevent scratching of the stock if you keep the bipod tightened thoroughly. the bipod has the ability to swivel side to side and can be locked in place using an lever accessible from the rear of the unit.the extensions or legs are easily pulled out to length and can be locked in position if you are on uneven terrain amd the legs are easily retracted at the push of a button. when finished using you can fold up the legs under the barrel and out of the way.i would highly recommend this bipod assembly over the other name brands to anyone!Pros: price, quality and featuresCons: NONE

Great product. I have used 3 other Bi-Pod's and found this one to be the most sturdy of all. After installing this Bi-Pod I went to the range and shot 3 shots that were inside the size of a dime. Obviously, the Blackhawk Bi-Pod did the job for me. Great product if you want a tight group whether it be on paper or on target for a deer.

This bipod is very sturdy and dependable. It is adjustable to what ever position you may need for bench or prone shooting. It is very easy to installl which was a big plus for me and it doesn’t add a hole lot of wait to your gun.

I am a Harris bipod fan… That being said, I was on a budget for my build and +$100 bipod wasn't an option. Surprisingly, this bipod is made quite well, and just as sturdy as the Harris. I found two main differences between the Blackhawk and Harris bipods (one good, one not). The Blackhawk bipod legs are under a spring load to retrieve, NOT extend like the Harris. So, it takes a little work to pull the leg out and secure it with the tension knobs near the foot of the leg. However, if you are in a hurry to move and collapse the gun down, this is not a CON. What I really like about the Blackhawk, that I wish Harris would have, is the swivel tensioner lever just below and behind the perch of the bipod. This is great for tightening and loosening the swivel feature for the desired effect very easily. My Harris bipods have a round turning screw that my large hands cannot grab easily. All the above being stated, I would definitely buy this product again, and for the half the price of a Harris, I just might buy another without batting an eye.

Haven’t had the chance to use it a lot yet, but so far very impressed. All the features of the high dollar bipods for half the money. Solid, easy to use. Glad I ordered it and would order again. Haven’t used enough for 5 star, but I think it will get there

The bipod is simple to attach to weapons with a post for a front swivel. The pivot lever can be quickly and easily manipulated with one hand. This bipod operates in reverse fashion from a Harris in that this one retracts rather than extends when you push the button on each leg. This was actually a welcome feature since I always used to accidentally bump the leg release the Harris during missions. Just be careful, this one can bite if your fingers are in the wrong location when the legs retract.Pros: Price, lightweight, simple to use
