BlackHawk Nylon Ambidextrous Multi-Use Holsters w/Mag Pouches

Useful Features:The holster comes with a ruler that snaps into the enclosure. That might seem useless, but the ruler is an invaluable tool to customize the holster. The enclosure strap uses Velcro style hook and loop connectors, but the loop pads are behind nylon weave paneling, and it's impossible to simply put-on/pull off the enclosure/retention strap, because there is no maneuvering room. However, if you run the ruler between the two sides of the Velcro-style paneling, you can slide the enclosure/retention straps in and out. It is really brilliantly designed in this regard, because this feature helps keep the holster's design neat and clean. The magazine pouch perfectly fits a double-stack mag securely. There is not much to say about it, but it is nice to have, and was a major reason that I chose this product. Quality:The holster is well made, ridged, and constructed from quality material. However, most of the stitching is single; double-stitching would have been nice.Negative:The holster has two negatives as far as I can tell. First, my pistol draw was rather difficult out-of-the-box. To be fair, I own a full-sized pistol that is also somewhat bulky in design. So such pistols with a squared-off design, Glocks for example, will likely require that you loosen up the pistol if you want to have a smooth, easy draw. I achieved this by holstering my pistol with several layers of thin cardboard strips places alongside the slider and trigger guard. I have not had the holster long, so I do not know if it will loosen further, or even possibly tighten back up again. (Though I couldn't foresee how that might happen.)The second issue is that this is not a great inside-the-pants holster. Now granted, I didn't buy it with inside-the-pants in mind, but it is technically capable of filling that role. However but seems a little bulky for an inside-the-pants application. This may not be an issue if you carry a single-stack, or similarly slim pistol.Total Picture:Decent holster for a very reasonable price. If you just need a holster for general purposes, this is a good choice. If you are going more tactical, try looking at Blackhawk's Serpa line, and expect to pay a pretty penny too. If you are planning carrying primarily inside-the-pants, then I'd get a dedicated ITP holster, and I'd probably make sure to see it in-person, since it will need to be a custom fit to your body. If you want a on-the belt holster, or if you are planning on carrying in a bag, purse, or similar, this is a really good product for a reasonable price. And again, having an extra mag on-hand, neatly stored, and ready to go is invaluable. Pros: Inexpensive and versatileCons: Needs loosening, & not great inside-the-pants

Economic, readily adjustable soft holster that fits a SIG SP2022. Outside belt carry is comfortable and stable.
