Well made with quality materials, very roomy with lots of pockets and storage. I'm able to take multiple handguns with accessories to the range, I particularly like the magazine holders. Good value for the money.

Versital and high quality range bag. What I would expect from Blackhawk products. Plenty of room for two pistols, ammo, hearing protection, eye protection, etc. I would definitely recommend this bag.

Very well designed it has plenty of pockets to keep items stored and/or separate. It’s design allows me to fit my targets, eyewear, gloves, headsets, etc. The material feels like sturdy quality and could take abuse. Makes it convenient to go to the range because I just leave everything I need in that bag. So when it’s range time, I just grab my bag and leave.

I like everything about this bag except there is no built in magazine storage like my 5.11. Not a major issue especially if one rotates guns and shoots revolvers more often. Bag is put together well, zippers appear to be strong and the compartments are useful. Overall, a pretty decent range bag and well worth the money.

I've owned a Blackhawk Deluxe Sportster bag since around 2011 paying $60 at the time, and it has been a rugged bag having enough features to allow taking a few guns with ammo to my local Indoor Gun Range now and then. I'm shooting less than an hour with Ammo prices being what they are nowadays so this bag works fine for me most days.I also own a larger 5.11 range ready bag if needing more organization to haul additional items for shooting although it can get heavy rather quickly, so the Blackhawk Sportster seems ideal for most range trips. If taking guests to the range or instructing/facilitating new shooters, I'll take the 5.11 bag for the added room it provides having a lift out inner bag section and brass keeper bag, with room for extra Ear Pro & Eye Pro, etc….The Deluxe Sportster is a sturdy and ruggedly constructed medium sized bag using quality materials having an outer zippered pocket which can store Ear Pro & Eye Pro, and small misc items on one side. The opposite side has a dual zippered compartment with a removable zippered pistol sleeve and storage for gloves, paperwork and slimmer items. Drawbacks to this bag are: NO pocket storage on either end of the bags main compartment, and no elasticized magazine storage loops. My bag being older does not have Molle webbing, but I believe the newer designed bags have Molle webbing attachment capability on one side of bag for those needing that. The main compartment has a quick pull dual zippered flap having two interior velcro flap pockets on the inside which could be used for ammo, magazine storage, or a small pistol (possibly 380acp size) depending on your needs and size of items. My guns travel in pistol rugs or sleeves for protection when in the main compartment section. On the outer end of the main compartment is a rectangular velcro area if wanting to attach a morale patch. If your intent is hauling a lot of items to the range or needing more organizational capability, you may want to look into bigger range bags, as there are a lot or really nice ones to choose from including 5.11 range bags and Smith and Wesson's M&P line.Just remember loading up a larger bag can become quite heavy. I have comfortably carried four pistols and several boxes of ammo in this bag and it handled it easily being rock solid!Frankly, if I need to haul more stuff possibly for outdoor shooting, I'll be grabbing my larger 5.11 bag along with an additional large open bag for rifle rests, front & rear sand bags, cleaning and adjusting tools, etc., anyway! If you are concerned about security, a feature some bags overlook nowadays is having the ability to place a small luggage padlock through the dual zippers. My Blackhawk Deluxe Sportster has three lockable zippered compartments where the dual zippers line up mating together to allow inserting a small luggage padlock. The Main dual zippered compartment does not have this feature and is the exception to this.If you're in need of a medium sized well constructed range bag to handle trips to and from your local Gun Range, this bag is worth considering if it meets your requirements and price range.
