Very nice mat with logo – note it is rather long so it will handle very long guns. It is leak proof and will protect whatever you are working on. It provides a nice surface to make sure you do not scratch your gun.

I was expecting something more substantial and padded. If you are simply looking for a barrier to prevent solvents from leaking through this may work for you, but otherwise, a towel adds as much protection as this does

This is a very nice and good sized work mat. It really protects your firearms very nicely when ever you need to lay them on your work bench. Throw away that old carpet you cut. This is very convenient during cleaning and routine maintenance. It was very helpful when I was changing out stocks and barrels on my 12 ga shotgun.
